About the owner

A deep, personal connection

The owner of Lanka Coffee, born in Sri Lanka and adopted as a baby by Dutch parents, has a deep connection to his native country. This personal connection, combined with his Dutch entrepreneurial spirit, drives his dedication to improving coffee processing techniques, supporting coffee grower communities, and enhancing the quality and yield of his farms. Ultimately, he strives to improve not only the quality of the coffee but also the quality of life for many in Sri Lanka.

We work directly with farmers, process the coffee ourselves, and bring it directly to Europe. This allows us to maintain control over quality, transparency, and impact. More importantly, it enables us to invest where it matters most.
